walls without borders.
i am lovingly preparing to embark on my next design job-giving a facelift to our dear friends living/dining room(s). they have a fabulous space that is super open and super light filled. they have young kids (i should mention they are the worlds most sweet little monkey's and i adore them) so i not only want to give the big people a space they love, but also make it little person friendly.
the best and hardest part of the project is that they have pretty large furniture and arranging it in the most sensible way has proved a little challenging. when i design rooms a main priority is to make their day-to-day lives easier-because they have one open floor the challenge is to create different rooms without any walls.
i am debating between wall paper-i'm obsesses with wall paper btdubbs...but it can get to be really awful when you go to remove it. despite all the amazing new wall paper patterns there is still not an easy way to remove it. an alternative: stamped walls. take a gander at these inspirations:
it's incredibly easy and if you mess up, you can just paint over it and it's like it never happened. room for error, perfect imperfection and abundant space for creativity-yes please. loves.
