wide open spaces.

so, i just love to bake. i also love to eat. which, is not as good but one thing at a time. with that in mind, the first thing at this time is the kitchen. we recently moved into a fabulous little condo while figuring out our next move and my first big project will be opening up the kitchen. it's a great space with beautiful cabinets, the problem is, my lovey is quite big and the abundance of drawers and doors makes the space feel small and confined. the solution: open shelving. i have been pining over this idea for some time. and now that we are in a space that we can repurpose, i am biting my nails in anticipation of starting this endeavor. 

until that moment arrives, let's pay homage to some open shelving that is to blame for my latest design-session.
